WordPress - Plugin Setup

In this chapter, we will learn how to set up plugins in WordPress without writing HTML or CSS. This is usually a great addition for multiplayer sites. This new method allows you to customize the login page using the WordPress Theme Customizer (no coding skills required).

Following are the simple steps to set up plugins in WordPress.

Step (1) − Click on Plugins → Add New .

Step (2) − Install and activate the Customizer Page Login Customizer plugin .

Step (3) − Click on Appearance → Login Setup .

Step (4) − Click the Start Setup button to continue.

Step (5) − It will launch the built- in WordPress Theme Customizer. You can customize the theme and make it the way you want.

Click on the new Login Customizer tab in the sidebar. The login setup page opens. On the login setup page, you can customize your login page in the same way you customize your WordPress theme.

Step (6) − The customized login page will appear as shown in the following screen.

• Logo - Upload a logo of your choice to replace the default WordPress logo.

• Background - Add a background image or you can select a background color of your choice.

• Form Background - Select a form background image or a color for the login form container of your choice.

Most of the elements in the settings panel are transparent. You can check all selected options in the customizer to customize the options according to your requirements on the login page. Click on the Save and Publish button .
