Joomla - Dashboard

In this chapter, we will explore the different options for the toolbar in Joomla. Following is the list of toolbars −
- Article Manager Dashboard

Article Manager Dashboard
Click Content → Article Manager in the Joomla Admin Dashboard. In the Article Manager, you can create standard pages that consist of images, text, and hyperlinks. The following figure shows the Article Manager toolbar.

New - Create a new article.

Edit − Edit any specific article.

Publish — publish an article for the user on the site.

Unpublish - Unpublish the article for the user on the website.

Featured - Featured Article Several articles can also be shown.

Archive − It can change the status of articles to published or unpublished by selecting archived in the status selection filter.

Check In - registration of the selected product. Several articles can be checked.

Cart - Delete the selected product permanently.

Batch Processing - Selected items are processed in batches.

Help - The Help button is used to open the help screen.

Option - opens the settings window where you can change the article settings.

Category manager toolbar
Click Content → Category Manager in the Joomla Admin Dashboard. It manages to create a classification of articles, which allows you to better group your content. The following figure shows the category manager toolbar.

Media Manager toolbar
Click Content → Media Manager in the Joomla Admin Dashboard. It manages files by uploading a new file or deleting existing ones on your web server. Below is a screenshot of the Media Manager panel.

Upload - Upload images from your system.

Create New Folder - Create a new folder on the Joomla server.

Delete - permanently deletes the selected item/images.

Menu Manager toolbar
Click Menu → Menu Manager in the Joomla Admin Dashboard. Manages menu items. This is where new menus are created, deleted or managed afterwards. Below is a screenshot of the menu manager toolbar.

Click Extension → Module Manager in the Joomla Admin Control Panel. It manages the location of the modules and the features that are installed. The following figure shows the module manager toolbar.

Global Configuration Toolbar
Click System → Global Configuration in the Joomla Admin Dashboard. It manages the global Joomla site settings. Below is a snapshot of the global configuration toolbar.

Save - Saves the configuration and stays on the same screen.

Cancel - Cancel configuration changes and return to the previous screen without saving.

Language Manager toolbar
Click Extension → Language Manager in the Joomla Admin Control Panel. It controls the languages ​​you use on the site. The following figure shows the Language Manager toolbar −
