Joomla - Extensions Menu

In this chapter, we will study the extension menu in Joomla. Click on Extensions , a dropdown menu will appear as shown below −

Extension manager

The Extension Manager is used to extend the functionality of a Joomla website.

Click Extensions → Extension Manager , the screen shown below will open.

Module Manager

It manages the modules that are installed on the site, i.e. the location and functions of the modules.

Click Extensions → Module Manager , the screen shown below will open.

Plugin Manager

It manages Joomla plugins and allows you to enable/disable or edit plugin details.

Click Extensions → Plugin Manager , the screen shown below will open.

Template Manager

It manages the projects that are used on the website. Templates can be implemented without changing the structure of the content within seconds.

Click Extensions → Template Manager , the screen shown below will open.

Language Manager

This will help you set the default language for your site.

Click Extensions → Language Manager , the screen shown below will appear.
