In this chapter, we will look at the media settings in WordPress. It is used to set the height and width of the images you are going to use on your site.
Step (1) − Click Settings → Media in WordPress.
Step (2) . The media settings page is displayed as shown in the following screenshot.
Below are the details of the fields in media settings.

Thumbnail Size - Set the thumbnail size.

Medium Size - Set the height and width of medium size images.

Large Size - Set the width and height of large images.

File Upload - after checking this box, the uploaded image will be sorted by year and month.

Step (3) − After setting the size in pixels, click the Save Changes button . This saves information about media settings.
